Women’s Rights Center presents the film “No to Domestic Violence”, where famous male representatives having a sound input in Art and Sport, took part in the film showing their attitude to the phenomenon of domestic violence and direct their message to the broad society. 

Women’s Rights Center together with its “Men against Violence against Women” Network members presented the “No to Domestic Violence” film. The film presentation was held on the 7th of May, at 19:00 in Yerevan Komitas Chamber Music Hall.

This year a training on Civil Society Monitoring and Evaluation of UNSCR 1325 was held on the 11-13th of April in Congress Hotel, Yerevan. 

  This year on the 23rd of March, the members of Women's Rights Center’s “Men against Violence against Women” Network held a one- day training- course on domestic violence in Ani Plaza Hotel, Yerevan. 

This year the 57th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) took place at United Nations Headquarters in New York City, from 4 to 15 March 2013.

This year a Gender Theme Group Ad hoc meeting was organized on the 5th of February in the OSCE Office in Yerevan by the request of some of the GTG members representing civil society to discuss the recent developments regarding the Draft Law on Domestic Violence in Armenia.

This year on 26-27 January a Consultation Meeting in the post -2015 agenda was held by Central and Eastern European Women’s Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. A representative of Women’s Rights Center was also there.

  This year Women against Violence Europe (WAVE) held a 5-day training (10-14th of December) in Vienna. Holding of the training WAVE –Training-Institute aimed at uniting and strengthening the capacity of experts working at women’s support services and establishing common quality standards for the survivors in Europe. This year, the focus of the training institute was “Skill Building in Risk Assessment and Safety management – strengthening capacities to protect women and their children in high risk situations”.
