WRC presented an offer to RA Police Academy to include "Domestic violence" subject in their curriculum and to organize relevant trainings  for their specialists basing on "Domestic violence" manual elaborated by WRC and got their accordance.

The official response was received in 05.08.2010 from RA Police General Major H. Poghosyan, who stated: "Deeply cognizing the essential role of police in domestic violence prevention, determination and guard, we demonstrate willingness to cooperate in the framework of your offer,as well as to assist in organizing trainings in police educational institutions of Armenia with the help of appropriate WRC specialists."

The trainings will be conducted by "Domestic Violence" manual elaborated by WRC, which will train relevant skills of police officers on domestic violence.

The manual presents the common peculiarities of domestic violence in general, its types, specificities, reasons and the methods of its prevention, as well as it clarifies the role and the interference of police officers in the given situation.

It is also considered useful for students of Law faculty, the researchers, lecturers, governmental and non-governmental organizations dealing with domestic violence issues.

WRC pays much importance to the role of RA Police in prevention of domestic violence against women and their children and always cooperates with RA Police both in Yerevan and RA marzes.
